St. Veronica Biography

Saint Veronica was a pious woman of Jerusalem. Veronica was moved with pity when she saw Jesus as he carried his cross to Golgotha. She gave him her veil so that he might wipe his forehead. Jesus accepted the offering and after using it, handed it back to her. The image of his face was miraculously impressed upon it.
